Anaïd Productions has received a 2015 Rockie Award nomination for “The Liquidator”

Anaïd Productions, one of Canada’s leading independent production companies, is pleased to announce it has received a 2015 Rockie Award nomination for one of its longest-running television series, The Liquidator, showcasing Canada’s liquidation guru, Jeff Schwarz.

The show’s season three episode “Taken For A Ride” was nominated in the ‘Lifestyle’ category. “We truly have the best team of talented professionals and it’s evident in the quality of our show,” says Margaret Mardirossian, Founder and Executive Producer of Anaïd Productions. “We’ve been producing high caliber programs for over twenty years and we’ll continue to focus on delivering first-rate programming for many years to come.” The Liquidator is currently in production on its fourth season, which is airing new episodes every Thursday night on OLN. It follows Jeff Schwarz, owner of Burnaby-based Direct Liquidation, as he flies from one jaw-dropping deal to the next, liquidating some of the most outrageous goods anyone has ever seen. In this season, Jeff has raised the stakes as he goes for even riskier and outlandish transactions that take him as far east as the tropical islands of Indonesia, and as rural as Swan River, Manitoba. Fans have come to love the fact that Jeff will do whatever it takes to make a profit.

The Liquidator is produced by Anaïd Productions in association with Rogers Media Inc., with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, Rogers Telefund, and the Province of British Columbia, and with the assistance of the Alberta Media Fund and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit Program.
